Georgian College, along with Campus Living Centres, opened two brand new residence buildings this fall on the Georgian College Orillia Campus. Each unit in the building consists of four furnished bedrooms, two bathrooms, in suite laundry, an open concept kitchen, and an spacious living area.

Adding a residence, and by extension having students on campus all the time, helps enhance the overall campus community at Georgian College Orillia. Student Council President, Scott Anderson, believes the residence community, “will add a new facet to the student life and activities on campus.”

With 64 units, and 128 corresponding spaces, available between the two residence buildings, the new residence buildings are already at full capacity with a long wait list. Campus Living Centres will begin construction on a third building, with an expected opening date of September 2014.
