Part of the Campus Living Centres’ corporate identity is based on our staff engagement, which includes giving back to the many communities we serve through our student residence buildings. On Thursday, January 8th, 2015, Associate Director of Residence Life, Greg Hum, organized a volunteering event at the Daily Bread Food Bank for the Campus Living Centre corporate team.
Leading up to the volunteering event, the corporate team collected 252 pounds of food through an office drive. Campus Living Centres also made a financial contribution to the Daily Bread Food Bank. On the day of the event, the team packaged and boxed 780 beef patties, and sorted food donations. Through our collective efforts, we packaged enough food to serve 1988 individuals.
